Giving Tuesday is a powerful national day of giving, raising funds, and generating awareness after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. WISE raised over $26,000 for Giving Tuesday 2022. After last year’s successful event, WISE is participating in Giving Tuesday again in 2023. Thank you to all those that supported us in 2022.

We welcome donations through the mail or on our website. All donations received between September 1st and November 28th will be counted toward our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal of $27,000! You can mail your check to WISE at PO Box 1249, Big Rapids, MI 49307, or you can donate online.
How did we use the $26,000 raised for Giving Tuesday 2022?

- $9,915 Operating Expenses (Agency rent, insurance, office supplies and equipment)
WISE relies on financial support from the community to supplement the federal funds we receive each year to support WISE programs. Our federal grants limit the amount of administrative/operating expenses we are allowed to spend with their funds and they require at least 30% of our funding come from non-federal sources, so we rely on local grants, fundraisers and donations from the community to meet this monetary match requirement. We truly appreciate the community support we receive each year and are truly grateful for the support we receive for Giving Tuesday, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
